Al-Ittihad have made their move for Hakim Ziyech, sensing opportunity in the middle of a full-blown crisis between the Moroccan star and Wydad that has left his future hanging in the balance.
According to “Africa Foot”, the Libyan club have put a substantial financial offer on the table, a package designed to turn Ziyech’s uncertainty into a swift agreement. The message from Al-Ittihad is clear: they are ready to act fast, and on terms they believe will be hard to refuse.
Nothing is done yet. Ziyech’s contractual dispute with Wydad continues to drag on, with no breakthrough in sight.
What began as a disagreement has now hardened into open conflict. Relations between Ziyech and Wydad have deteriorated sharply in recent weeks, with financial, sporting and disciplinary issues all feeding into the fallout. Several meetings between the player’s camp and the club hierarchy have failed to close the gap. If anything, the divide has widened.
