Anderson Talisca’s time at Fenerbahce is over almost as quickly as it began.
The Brazilian forward has left the Istanbul giants by mutual consent, clearing the way for another lucrative move in the Gulf.
Fenerbahce announced the split in a short statement on X, confirming that Talisca, who arrived during the 2024-25 mid-season window, had agreed to terminate his contract. The club thanked him and wished him success in the next stage of his career. No drama. No public fallout. Just a clean break.
The next step is already mapped out.
According to Transfermarkt, citing journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, Talisca has reached an agreement with UAE side Al-Jazira. The deal is set to run for two years with an option for a third season, a structure that gives both club and player room to extend the relationship if the partnership clicks.
The financials underline his enduring pulling power.
Talisca is expected to earn slightly more than €10 million per year at Al-Jazira, a figure that keeps him firmly in the upper bracket of earners outside Europe’s traditional elite leagues.
There is also a familiar face waiting for him in Abu Dhabi.
At Al-Jazira, he will link up with compatriot Malcom, the former Al-Hilal attacker, in what promises to be one of the most eye-catching attacking pairings in the UAE Pro League.
