Carrarese have dipped into the free-agent market with intent, tying down former Paris Saint-Germain right-back Colin Dagba on a long-term deal that runs until June 30, 2028.
The 27-year-old arrives after his contract with Belgian side Beerschot expired on July 1, giving the Serie B club a defender with genuine top-level pedigree and something to prove. The agreement also includes an automatic extension clause, triggered if he hits specific performance targets – a clear sign that both club and player expect this partnership to last.
For Dagba, once a France Under-21 regular and a trusted squad option in Paris, this is a reset. A new league, a new rhythm, and a chance to rebuild momentum in a country where full-backs are judged as much on personality as on positioning.
Carrarese did not hide their excitement in the official announcement.
