Singapore fans will get a rare, behind-the-scenes taste of Formula 1 before the lights go out at Marina Bay, with ballots now open for the Thursday Pit Lane Experience on October 8.
Up to 4,500 fans will be allowed onto the famous Marina Bay Street Circuit pit lane, walking past the team garages and getting up close to the cars as mechanics and engineers fine-tune their machines for race weekend. No grandstand, no fence, just a clear line of sight into the sport’s inner workings.
The event takes place on the Thursday before Circuit Park officially opens for the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026, which runs from October 9 to 11. It sets the stage for a packed weekend that includes a sprint race on October 10 and the main night race on October 11.
The pit walk is only part of the draw. Fans will also be able to roam the Zone 1 F1 Village, with interactive activities and attractions running through the evening to keep the atmosphere buzzing long before the first competitive lap.
The public ballot is open exclusively to Singapore citizens and permanent residents, and crucially, fans do not need to hold a race weekend ticket to enter. Each successful applicant will receive a pair of tickets to the Thursday Pit Lane Experience, turning it into an easy way to bring a friend or family member along.
Ballots are already open and will close on September 18 at 11.59pm Singapore time. Entries are submitted via the official website, with successful applicants to be notified separately once the draw is complete.
The Thursday Pit Lane Experience sits under the RevUpSG banner, a slate of activities designed to pull the city into Grand Prix mode and give fans a way to connect with Formula 1 beyond the three main days of track action.
For those lucky enough to win a place, it is the closest you can get to the heart of the paddock without a team pass – and a vivid prelude to one of the most atmospheric nights on the F1 calendar.
